06 · A cannon and a provenance hypothesis

Discovery location is not the same as presumed origin.

The museum records a cannon discovered during coastal works at Xuân Thiều–Nam Ô on 23 May 2019. A possible connection to the 1858 withdrawal from Điện Hải is presented as a hypothesis.

This does not prove discovery inside the citadel or display there today. Dating details also require expert reconciliation; the app does not invent a present-day object location.
